“How Are You Travelling?”
Gippsland Region
"How are you Travelling", Gippsland , started in May 2017.
It came about as there was nothing available in Gippsland for ambos to discuss their mental health issues.
The group meets once a month in Sale and is open to Paramedics, (working / retired), Ambulance Community officers, (working/retired), Community emergency response teams, (working/Retired), or anyone who has worked in the ambulance industry.
It is a safe place to discuss any mental health issues that we may have. It also provides a social environment, so that people don't feel isolated.
Tea, Coffee and pizza is provided at our monthly meetings.
Other activities include, Coffee / lunch catch ups, phone contacts and Day trips, when able to be arranged.
You would be most welcome if you decided to come along.
We currently meet:
in the St John’s Ambulance Hall, Stead Street, Sale
Once renovations are finished in a few months we’ll be back meeting at:
the Gippsland Veterans Centre, MacAlister Street, Sale
